As the last link of a divine knowledge chain, they donate breath and vitality to the society in which they were born and raised. This tradition, which raises representatives in every corner of the Turkish world, is powerful enough to make all kinds of political and economic borders meaningless without the support of any authority.

 

Sivas Cumhuriyet University and MOTIF Foundation will crown the tradition of minstrelsy, one of the most unique valleys of Turkish culture, with a symposium in the home of Âşık Veysel, one of the last great representatives of this tradition, and around his unique artistic power. “Our Republic's 100th.” “TURKISH ÂÅžIKLIK TRADITION AND ÂÅžIK VEYSEL SYMPOSIUM”, which will be held within the scope of the foundation and “2023 Year of Âşık Veysel” activities, will be held on November 2 - 3, 2023, hosted by Sivas Cumhuriyet University. the topics are:
